Kennel Facilities:
- A kennel is available at the South Rim. For more information
or reservations, call (928) 638-0534.
- No kennel facilities are available on the North Rim.
Pet Rules in Brief:
South Rim: Leashed pets are allowed on developed trails
above the rim. Pets are not allowed below the rim, in park lodging,
or on park buses. The only exception is service animals.
Want to take a service animal below the rim? Check with the Backcountry
Information Center first for details.
North Rim: Pets are not permitted on North Rim trails. Signal
and Guide dogs are exempted. Pets are allowed on the bridle path
that connects the lodge with the North Kaibab Trail. Pets must be
on leashed.
